A walk in the heart of the Massif des Maures, an ancient place of passage for goats and sheep and the cradle of an ancient agricultural activity.

About

The Rouay de la Cabre or "the goat's valley", a former place of passage for goats and sheep, describing an ancient agricultural activity. Hiking in the Maures massif where vines and olive trees are now present in this valley replacing the disappeared herds.

Regulated access: from June to September, before any circulation in the Var massifs, check the opening conditions on the fire risk map (updated at 5pm every day for the following day) or by calling the tourist office.

Parking at the entrance to the Vallon de Tamary, Route de Valcros.

Tips:
Bring good walking shoes as you will be passing through steep areas, sun cream and water.
